ZENARI Mario
Erkebiskop, det pavelige diplomati.
Født i Villafranca (bispedømmet Verona) i Italia den 5. januar 1946. Han ble presteviet den 5. juli 1970. I 1980 begynte han sin tjeneste i Vatikanets diplomatiske korps. Han har vært stasjonert i Senegal, Liberia, Colombia, Tyskland og Romania. Utnevnt til nuntiaturråd 25. mars 1993. Den hellige Stols permanente representant til IAEA, KSSE, ONUDI og til FN-kontorene i Wien 6.2.1994-12.7.1999.
Utnevnt til titularerkebiskop av Zuglio, og til apostolisk nuntius i Côte d'Ivoire og Niger 12. juli 1999, og dessuten også til apostolisk nuntius i Burkina Faso 24. juli 1999. Utnevnt til nuntius i Sri Lanka den 10. mai 2004.
