Chronology of Catholic Dioceses:Notes on the Apostolic Administration of Burgenland - 1922
The parts of the Hungarian dioceses of Raab/Györ and Steinamanger/Szombathély which were added to Austrian territory after the plebicites after World War I, where erected as the "Apostolisches Administratur (Apostolic Administration) Burgenland". Under Pope John XXII, this Apostolic Administration was elevated to a Diocese in 1960, the Diocese of Eisenstadt.
