Chronology of Catholic Dioceses:Notes on the Diocese of Lesina 1254
The diocese of Lesina was erected in the XIII century, a possible year is 1254. Someone thinks it can be older (X century) but there are no documents indicating that. Lesina was suppressed in the 2nd half of the XVI century (the town was abandoned) and incorporated in Larino.
