Chronology of Catholic Dioceses:Notes on the Diocese of Tauriana 600

The first mention of a diocese of Tauriana is found in the letters of Pope Gregory the Great (book I epistle XLI). The diocese was destroyed at the end of X century, and on 4 February 1083 incorporated in the diocese of Mileto (read also the note for Vibo Valentia).
