Chronology of Catholic Dioceses:Notes on the Apostolic Prefecture Mayotte, Nossi-Bé and Comores 1923-1932
In 1923, the Apostolic Prefecture Mayotte, Nossi-Bé and Comores was put under the administration of the newly erected Apostolic Vicariate of Majunga. This arrangement continued until 1932, when the Capuchins took over the care of this prefecture (now called "The Islands of Mayotte, Nossi-Bé and Comores").
