Chronology of Catholic Dioceses:Notes on the Diocese of Fiorentino 1059

The diocese of Fiorentino was erected in the XI century after the Council of Melfi (1059). The town was destroyed in 1255, and in 1391 the diocese was formally incorporated into the diocese of Lucera (from 1908: Lucera - Troia).
