Chronology of Catholic Dioceses:Notes on the Diocese of Guardialfiera 1059

The diocese of Guardialfiera was erected in the XI century after the Council of Melfi (1059). It was suppressed in 1818, and its territory incorporated in the diocese of Termoli. Its last bishop was Filippo Speranza in 1804.
